Chibok Local Government has four primary schools and only one secondary school due to years of neglect, despite the willingness of the Christian community to embrace western education. No Chibok indigene had ever represented the state in the Nigeria's National Assembly despite the overwhelming population advantage they have. Senator Ali Ndume, formerly arraigned in court by Nigeria's secret police for being a Boko Haram sponsor, is the Senator representing the zone where Chibok falls into, and report has it that he rarely visits the town, except passing through the town en route to other places.

Therefore, Chibok is not in the list of development priorities of successive Borno State Governments because of their Christian heritage , dating back to over eighty years, which they refused to surrender. Why Boko Haram chose to humiliate Chibok is still a puzzle to be unravelled soon. The Chairman of Northern Christian Elders Forum, Evangelist Matthew Owojaiye, addressing ministers of the gospel in Kaduna recently wondered “why Boko Haram single out Chibok of all the local governments in Borno State for abduction, it is because they are a christian minority.”

Chibok is literally dead, the town is deserted, residents are hiding inside the bush, parents of the abducted girls are dying one by one, as at last count, nine have died while the rest are walking corpses. The rest of the nation sees the Chibok issue as stale news, politicians are looting treasury, including funds meant to fight the insurgents, and political spokespersons are throwing tantrums at each other. Each passing day, these girls are raped 15 times and the Islamic leaders in Nigeria are still playing politics, instead of going after their brothers perpetrating atrocities in the name of Allah. In the next ten days, if these girls are not rescued, they would have stayed in the Jihadist den for 100 days, and would have been raped 1500 times, and yet an insensitive Federal Government is amassing trillions of naira from various oil deals and distributing such for 2015 elections.

So then a man loses it, and declares war on the state, and they call him a religious extremist terrorist.

Here is what I mean:
This was the summary of the revelations by Senator Zanna representing Born Central Senatorial District According to an interview he granted an online media, the senator said that “Actually the information I’m getting, some of them are very disturbing. Although I don’t want to mention but they are just raping the girls on camera and even showing them on video, releasing it to the public.”
Apparently the Boko Haram Islamists have taken to mass-gang-raping the Christian girls they abducted, and recording it. Yes, this is the #BringBackOurGirls girls.
“Somebody told me that they were shown being raped, and in turn, it is the girl who was raped that came out kneeling down and begging the man to be patient. Do you know the reason why? They said when they rape them they shoot them. Therefore the girl after being raped, she curled down to the man, kneeling down and begging him to please be patient. So disturbing.”

Senator Khalifa Ahmed Zanna, though a Muslim, was previously accused by former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff of being a Boko Haram sponsor who sponsors people outside the country for trainings in terrorism, but since this Chibok abducted started, he has shown great concerns over the fate of the abducted girls even more than the Federal Government and had almost on weekly basis released information that might aid in the release of the girls to the security agents .
I am not sure what this is going to do to my thought process henceforth.
I think it is fair to say that a Christian has every right to be absolutely, absolutely outraged.

This is what I am getting from Nigeria. You bet TV is going to be perfectly silent about this one.
